Lynn Taylor

Lynn Dixon Taylor (1898-1967) was born on May 6, 1898. He studied at Brigham Young University and graduated in 1923 with a bachelor's degree in art. He also studied at the New York School of Interior Decoration.

Taylor was the merchandise manager and buyer of the Dixon-Taylor-Russell Company. He later returned to BYU as a special instructor of interior design for thirty years, and for a long time was the only instructor in the field.

He married Celestia Marguerita Johnson in August of 1927. Taylor passed away on July 2, 1967.
