Arisael Rivera

Arisael Rivera Rios graduated from Brigham Young University in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in theatre arts studies. In 2006, Rivera began to work with some of his fellow students to produce a selection of plays they had been writing as part of their coursework.

In December of 2006, Rivera was instrumental in forming a non-profit theatre company called New Play Project. Since then, New Play Project has given theatre enthusiasts in Provo, Utah the opportunity to be involved in every aspect of theatre, from writing and acting to directing and promoting. Rivera has written written several of the plays New Play Project has presented, and has worked to build the reputation of the company.

Following graduation from BYU, Rivera was accepted to the MFA Acting program at the New School for Drama in New York.
