April Moriarty She graduated from Brigham Young University in 1987 with a degree in communications.

She is a popular violinist in Utah County, composing and performing religious duets with pianist Todd McCabe. Moriarty has also performed at the Hollywood bowl, and with classical musicians Itzhak Perlman, Pinchas Zuckerman, and Lynn Harrell. Moriarty has also performed with contemporary musicians Donny Osmond, Peter Cetera, Alex Boye and others. is an accomplished musician. Moriarty began playing the piano at age five and the violin at age ten. Moriarty began to compose her own works in high school and studied in Europe with concert violinist Jascha Heifetz for five years. Moriarty continued her studies in Switzerland and performed throughout Europe.
